Rob Maynard is a DJ with 20 yrs experience, playing to funky groovy, dancing, people.

Rob landed his first residency back in ‘87 in his home town and it steadily grew to him working in to the record industry and the booming rave and dance explosion of late 80’s.

Robs first cross country residencies in the underground scene was for the legendary “Sterns” in Worthing and “Club Kinetic” in Stoke. It was during this time that he was picked up to work for mobile sound systems which took Rob to such events as “Raindance” and the “Tag parties” playing in the great outdoors on flat bed lorrys in mystery locations at short notice to entertain those loved up party people.

During this time Rob was introduced to the Kiss FM parties of “Spice” at Lindford film studios and this led to being employed at “Quaff records” in Londons busy Soho where Rob was to work his way up to managing the shop for legendary DJ “Roy the Roach”. It was this connection which led to Rob being asked to DJ at many larger clubs such as “Ministry of Sound” regularly playing to screaming masses in the the bar. From here Rob was picked to play on the underground station of “Girls FM” and this catapulted him to various events outside of the UK including Italy and Switzerland among others. These events led to a tour with ground breaking breakbeat producer, DJ and TCR label boss Rennie Pilgrims band “The Rythmn Section” in Florida in ‘95, playing breaks and beats to 1000’s of funky Americans.

Making an international name for himself, Rob was then asked to play for “Rubber Ron’s” “Submission” and it was this meeting which led to him becoming a DJ force in the expanding fetish scene in London. Rob has since worked in many of the scenes top parties for the last 12 yrs, culminating in his current residency at Mistress Absolute and Bobette’s “Subversion” along side the dynamic duo of “Si and Bas”, whipping up storming house and break beat sets to the sexy groovy people of this fabulous monthly event.

Rob returns again for his second visit to the main room at this years “Skin Two Rubber Ball” along side DJ partner in crime, the awsome deep dirty funky breaks DJ “Marky Moo!” of “Skin Two”.
