Forum Magazine
Published September 28th, 2007 in Exhibitors
Forum was launched in 1968, as a spin-off from Penthouse magazine. Penthouse’s readers wanted to share their stories of daring pastimes such as wife swapping, cross-dressing and spanking, but there simply wasn’t room in their letters section and so Forum was born. At the forefront of campaigns for sexual equality and gay liberation, Forum was designed as the International Journal Of Human Relationships and continues to cover sexual, legal and emotional matters in a frank and forthright way.
Over the years, a host of famous names have contributed to its pages, including Auberon Waugh, Simon Raven, Germaine Greer, Rosie Boycott and the Reverend Chad Varah, founder of the Samaritans. Forum has also interviewed many of the big names on the fetish scene, covered topics such as scarification and medical play before they were discovered by more mainstream mags and has launched the careers of a number of successful writers of erotica through its fiction pages.
Now a stylish glossy monthly, Forum is published in six different countries around the world. To cater for their readers’ more specific tastes, Forum also publishes Forum Presents Fetish and Forum Presents BDSM on a quarterly basis.
This year at the Expo you can pick up their latest issue, take a subscription, complete your collection of back issues, or just stop by and say hello to the friendly Forum team.
