Skin Two Rubber Ball Weekend 2006
FOUR days of Fabulous Fetish Parties and Events
This year, the weekend starts a day earlier –
on Thursday 5th October, with The
Flash Monkey Cabaret. The event is from 8pm
until late. The evening presents an array of live
acts and music and was described by Time Out
as "a darker version of Moulin Rouge".
On Friday 6th, the Cocktail
Party will be held at a secret Soho location,
hosted by the famously outrageous Ritzy Crackers.
It’s a great place to meet up for drinks
before Torture Garden, or sit and socialise if
you’re saving your energy for the Rubber
Ball on Saturday.
The Torture Garden Skin
Two Special is on Friday 6th October, at the Renaissance
Rooms in Vauxhall. Stage shows, installations
and music, all in the inimitable Torture Garden
style.
The Skin Two Expo runs
from 1pm to early evening, on both Saturday and
Sunday at The Barbican Exhibition Centre. Over
130 fetish designers and retailers from all over
the world, gathered together in one place, selling
clothes, shoes, accessories, jewellery, equipment,
furniture, clubs, holidays, art, photography and
books plus much more. As well as demonstrations,
fashion shows and great music, this year The Expo
has added a ‘Pamper Zone’ where visitors
can get their nails painted, have a massage and
indulge in the chocolate fountains.
The Skin Two Rubber Ball
is on Saturday 7th, at London’s biggest
club, SeOne, at London Bridge. This year’s
theme is "Stage and Screen". The Ball
will celebrate fetish imagery in movies and on
stage, from Rubber Marilyn Monroe to full-on Gladiator
combat.
Sunday 7th is the second day of the Skin Two Expo.
After you’ve shopped ’til you drop,
you can get something to eat – then dance
and play as the UK Fetish Club Collective presents
the Skin Two Rubber Ball Weekend Finale.
Friday 29th September is the last day for tickets
will be posted out (UK orders only). Tickets will
be available to buy online up to midday on 6th
October which you can collect at the event you
have booked for.
Pre ordered collection and international tickets
orders made up to midday on 4nd October can be
collected from RUSH, 25 Frith Street, Soho, London,
W1D 5LB at the following times:
Wednesday 4th October - 4pm - 8pm
Thursday 5th October - 2pm - 5pm
Tickets not collected will automatically be put
on the door for collection on the night of the
